best time of year to sail to europe?

from west coast? thats more or less an entire circumnavigation that will take you at least a year and a half, most likely more, and will take you through several seasons, across the pacific, indian ocean and the atlantic.

Good advice - and I hope wandrr is not the owner of the boat but looking to crew. If so, then Newport RI in May and June is a good place to find yachts that will be crossing.
