Best Island/Beach in Thailand...

I'd really like to get people's views about what is their favourite beach/island in Thailand.

I know there are so many and probaby so hard to choose but i'm sure there are people on this site who have been to heaps of different islands. I know there are some amazing places. I just saw some photos of Koh Kut/Koh Kood which look amazing.

Please tell me your experiences - what you like most about the island, and why - the beaches, the people, other tourists, what do you do there?

I want to find out of the way places, not widely known. And if you could post links to photos that would be great too...

I have been to quite a few islands & beaches in the past 3 years in thailand.

For me the remote resort on Koh kood I stayed at was gorgeous. The sea was clear, warm and very very clean - the Kayaking up the river (accessible from the beach was very pretty). The one resort on the whole bay made it simply perfect! The sand was lovely & soft. The food was so nice, very very cheap.

After four days I was ready to move on and see some more islands - Perfect for us. very memorable.
