Berlin Nexte Woche!!

So excited- going to get back to Berlin after a couple of years!! Sadly, most of my buddies are all gone, and although its fun to do some stuff alone, it would be great to get to meet new people that would like to grab a drink at the "Stäv" (Sorry, I love the place....), and sniff out some cool new places in Berlin! I plan to be there the 26th of July for a week. Let me know- send an email please!!! Ciao!

Well what else ,Kreuzberg and KuDam all the good places are there.Why don't you make a day trip to Hamburg ,there are many cool places there as well.

Otherwise known as "Ständige Vertretung."

It's a beer and sausage sort of place. Next door there is (or was) a "Bierbörse" place where you bid on the price of beer according to current demand (in the bar) as in a stock exchange. I'm not sure if it's still there because I hardly ever go down to that bit of the riverbank. My own neighbourhood (Zionskirchplatz) kind of keeps me busy.

Lots of great coffee places all over town, but Belluno on Kollwitzplatz, Café Moehring on Gendarmenmarkt and Operncafé on Unter den Linden (both with old fashioned flair), Café Einstein on Kurfürstenstrasse (NOT Kurfürstendamm), Café Savigny or Aedes around Savigny Platz, and Café Mamas under the S-Bahn arches at Hackesche Markt spring to mind.
