Belize kayak trip

Hi I'm heading to belize tuesday for 2 weeks & I was hoping to do a short kayak trip - 3 days?! Most of the stuff I've found is either daily rentals or 5-9 day trips (which are more $$ than I can spend & too much of my time there).
have any suggestions/recommendations???

I don't need luxurious - I can rough it, plus I'm on a budget :)

Finding a kayak to rent on Caye Caulker or in Placencia shouldn't be a problem.

Some of the rates I've seen are in the order of BZ$50 a day and BZ$240 a week. I have no idea if these are typical rates, but all you can do is look around and find the best price.

Some of the places in Placencia that rent kayaks: Singing Sands, Green Parrot, and Captain Jack's plus some of the hotels.

Thanks, that is great information to have. And I am beginning to suspect that I will end up doing the 1 day rental thing. But I'd love to do a short trip. Island hoping or something. Do you know of any places that do 3 day kayak trips???
