Barcelona - a really touristy question!

Country forums / Western Europe / Spain

Hi guys
I am returning to Barcelona for a long weekend, having first visited 15 years ago.
Back then I came with my mum and my aunt and they did ALL the organising - I was only 17.

Sadly neither my mum or aunt are with us anymore and, although this may sound like a wasted trip to some, I want to revisit some of the places we saw together, as it was such a lovely time spent.

From memory, we visited:

Mercad de la Boqueria
Park Guell
Casa Batlo + the other Gaudi building
Sagrada Familia

Now - this time around I'm travelling alone and on a bit of a budget - does anyone know of a 'combo' attractions ticket available to buy? I've tried the old Google with not much success - I'm not looking for a discount card like the Barcelona Card etc - I mean more of a '3 attractions/entries for the price of 2' kind of option?
I'm also assuming that if I buy tickets for some of these attractions in advance, I wouldn't have to queue with the masses on the day I visit? Turns out I'm coming the same weekend of La Merce - busy busy!

Thanks so much in advance

You don't need any ticket for Mercad de la Boqueria; in regard to other places I've been Barcelona 3 times in recent years and never found a combined ticket - there is a Barcelona Card but that doesnt give access to Gaudi sites.
Given you will be there same weekend La Merce definitely book in advance.
A general ticket to Park Guell is only about 7 Euro, Casa Batlo is about 25 - 30; Sagrada Familia is about 30.

Are you sure about the Sagrada Familia's price? I was in Barcelona in April 2015 and paid on line 15€ the day before.

Yes you are correct I just checked Sagrada website and basic is 15 -- I looked at my ticket from last year which says 28 Euro but realise now that included the towers.

I recommend to book a guided tour instead of the towers. It's 24€ and there is another entrance so you don't have to wait for long time. You can choose the language and it is quite interesting.

Casa Battlo basic ticket (already includes an excellent audioguide) is only 23.50 euros. Sagrada Familia basic ticket 15 euros, though I was glad I'd bought the audioguide (total of 22 euros). There is no long wait since the tickets are sold at 15 minute intervals. Definitely buy all three online in advance.

Thanks so much to all of you! :)
I didn't think there was a combi ticket but worth an ask. To be honest, all of that for 50ish Euros isn't too bad.

Is that a tour you booked on site or elsewhere? Thank you
