Bangkok- Koh Phangan (Koh Tao, Samui)via Chumphun with Nok Air/Lomprayah

I am new to the world of forums. Exiting!!

I have read at www.thongnaipau-magazin.com about a new (since 2011) connection between f.e. Koh Phangan (Tong Sala) and Bangkok (Don Muang airport) via Chumphun airport with a combo offer by Nok Air and Lomprayah (Ferrys). It takes 5 h.(because of the speed catamaran) and costs about 25 -30 $ one way.

1. Does it really exist?

2. Has anybody done it yet? How was it? How to buy it in advance?

3. If not, i guess Ferry/Air Asia from Suratthani is the way to go fast and cheap? how long does it take to get from the ferry at Don Sak to the Airport? Do the shuttels go right after a ferry has arrived? How much does it cost?

4. Are there any cheap flights from Koh Samui to BKK (i am talking about jan 4.th)?
