Bangkok 28th & 29th July , heading Koh samui on 30th july for 5-6days

Hi I am arriving Bangkok on 28th July and planning to stay near khao san road.
Will be taking a flight to koh samui on 30th morning and would stay there for 5-6 days , do some island hopping , attend half moon party.
Might also visit Phuket on 5 th & 6th august.

Anyone travelling to any of the places on similar dates , who would like to do some exploring together , or have few drinks and enjoy the nighlife , do drop a messgae . .
Currently I am alone , some friends might join if they have no other plans .

I'd like to join but I'll be in Bangkok 16th and 17th of July.

Travelvinh - already booked a budget hotel near khaosan road , it was quite cheap 700 B with aircon.
