I'm guessing the size/stability of the boat and intended destination/weather are determining factors, but apart from this common sense what are the legal/regulations re this....For example, and specifically on Sth Is, can you take an 8 month old on the
We had no problems at all taking our 7 month baby on a Milford Sound cruise and the shuttle boats for Abel Tasman. | 1
Straya - not sure about the specific excursions you are asking about but if you plan on doing a lot of boating activities with your child you might want to invest in a life jacket for your baby. Many tours only have 2 sizes of jackets, neither of which would be suitable for an 8 month old, and if you had your own baby jacket you could go sea kayaking or canoeing with the baby. | 2
I am sure you can take a baby on all these things. | 3
