Atitlan - 1 day tour suggestions

Last time I booked a boat that dropped off at a few spots, left you on your own, and picked you up x minutes later. That was fine but I don't remember how I did that or where? Looking for fastest boat. thanks, ahead.

You can usually find a "tour" for around Q100 that goes to 3 or 4 pueblos or just go to the "San Pedro dock" which is at the end of the street that goes by the gas station. There are actually two docks and one has boats that stop at every village.

You can pick and choose. For example, go to Santa Cruz and if you elect to stay, just take the next one to the San Juan or whatever.

Any tour company in town can set you up with a tour boat similar to what you took last time (3 or 4 villages). Alternatively, you can walk down Santander Street and over towards the boat dock at the end of Rancho Grande (where the Porta Hotel is), and most likely you will be approached by more than one person who will try to sell you a ticket if its before 9 in the morning. If you make it as far as the dock, you can check out the boat before you commit and book directly with the captain.

In terms of interest what would be a descending order of top 3 or 4 towns.
