There is a local guy who used to drive sail boats for rich owners. He claims that whenever he had to take boats out of Isla Mujeres, Mexico or Rio Dulce, Guatemala, he always had several young Gringa females volunteering to be first mates just for the chance to sail to Panama.

Was talking to a young Swiss woman at Bruno's in Rio Dulce two years ago and she kept pointing to older boat owners who had asked her if she was interested in sailing to Panama. While she turned them down, it was obvious from their arm candy that other girls were interested in sailing to panama.

and there will be plenty of takers

you look @ some of the stuff women put on here especially if you go to the womens forum they slag of us males as being lechorous
and if your over a certain age and still into backpacking and try to hook up on the forum just for company you have no chance.
