| thetravellingman00:45 UTC16 Jun 2007 | Hi,
I'm booking a flight from Lima to Cusco and TACA airlines is about half the price of LAN. Are they a safe airline. What's the reason for such a large difference in price?
Thanks

They argued it was the company's policy not to accept the luggage to be wrapped. It took me half an hour of complaining and talking to the supervisor at the airport... but they finally accepted it!
A very stupid thing, if you ask me.
The service was ok. I still think LAN has horrible customer service (before and after flying) but a great in-flight one!
Having said that, TACA is one of the major carriers around South and Central America...
