Aqaba - Nuweiba Fast Ferry

Hi.
I will be traveling from Petra to Aqaba and then to Nuweiba 6 April. So I have a question.
What time should I leave Petra to get to Aqaba ferry terminal before fast ferry departure? Is it OK if between 6 and 7A.M?
Will I have enough time to buy ferry ticket?
Is it possible to buy ticket just before ferry departure in terminal?

The ferry is scheduled to leave at midday and you should count on two hours drive from Petra to the ferry port in Aqaba. If you are going by bus, then yes, the buses between 6 and 7am should get you there in plenty of time, with a taxi from the bus station to the port.

You are really supposed to be there two hours before departure. This is not insisted on, but 6th April is close enough to the high point of Easter to make it a good idea to be there in plenty of time.

For the ferry ticket, you could buy it in Petra if you like, at one of the travel agencies there. I don't advise your waiting until the last minute at this time of year. But do ask the agency to check that the ferry is actually running - or whatever the word is for a ferry. It is occasionally cancelled for any one of a number of reasons.
