Anyone for a Quickie? (may be posted twice sorry)

A quick question that is...

My friend and I want to travel from Santiago to Bariloche on the 11th Dec. We were thinking to get the over nighter from SGO to Onsoro and then Onsoro to BLCHE.

Can we book this online and who through? Please note our Spanish is very very basic, so english sites prefered. Or is it easy enough to book when we get to Santiago (on the afternoon of the 9th Dec)? Im not sure how full the booking will be at that time.

TURBUS has an agreement with an argentinian bus firm going Bariloche, you can plan all the travel in Santiago , go to Turbus offices, better the main in the terminal

Cruz del Sur also does a connection to Bariloche with BusNorte in Osorno. They will have an office in Terminal Sur, across the side street from the TurBus station, or at Los Heroes bus station, both on the metro. In December you should be able to get on one of them.

Travelling by bus in Chile is really simple, once you are in Santiago.

Take the red Metro heading towards San Pablo, get off at the Universidad de Santiago. You will be then be at the Bus Terminal Stations area. There are three close together, each one going in different direction. I do not recall which goes south but you will soon figure it out..or ask anyone. You can book your tickets right there.
The bus system in Chile is excellent so busses will be departing almost hourly..do not hold me to this...but they rare frequent.
