Any other airline that servers Antananarivo and Toliary?

I checked airmadagascar.com and they have no seats from Toliary to Tana when I need them. Thinking of some other airline if it is possible to find it on the net.

Just a thought - when I used the AirMad online booking system they never had seats. But agencies and the Air Mad office always did. I think the online booking system doesn't work properly, or maybe not many seats are available that way.

Use the contact details on the website to email them direct and ask about availability. You'll probably find they have seats.

I dont think there are any other airlines.

However, you stand a good chance if you have yourself be put on the wait list for this flight.

Air madagascar has a particular policy that allows refunds of non-used tickets till a year after the flight that you didn't take. So it is quite common that people don't show up!

Also people only have to pay until two weeks before the flight, so keep checking!

I know a bus-ride takes approx. 20hrs... Yes, it is an option I keep in my mind, not mentioning we do not need to go as far as Toliary. We can turn around at some of the national parks... We are into parks and wildlife, we do not need to see beaches around Toliary/Ifaty... ;-)

hinsonme is quite right - Air Mad's online booking system quite simply doesn't work. It persistently tells you there are no flights when the timetable makes it clear that there are, it tells you no seats are available when flights are not full, and when it does manage to offer you a flight, the price it quotes is always higher (often by quite a lot!) than you can get by contacting Air Mad direct.

If you want to book flights (international or domestic) from your home country, contact the Paris call centre on 0033 892 70 18 19 (they speak good English). Not only will they give you a good price if one is available, they'll also give you the discount on domestic flights which you're entitled to if you fly long-haul with them, something the online system has obviously not been programmed to do. You can have your tickets held for collection on the day of your flight at the airport in Paris or (for domestics) in Tana.
