annapurna circuit trekking partner

Im in pokara at the moment perhaps looking to do the annapurna circuit or base camp trek setting off within the next 5 or so days. It seems you dont really need to bother with a guide and just stay in guest houses, but looks like its not such a good move to do it alone, so if anyone wants to come along or is also planning to do it let me know.....
