Annapurna base camp cost

Country forums / Indian Subcontinent / Nepal

Good Day All,
Sorry for the long post.
I will be in Nepal with my wife in October 2017 and wondering the cost of doing the Annapurna Base Camp trek.
Please can you help with the following questions.
1. Do i require TMIS and AACP permits and what do they cost and will i be able to get them on arrival?
2. What is the day cost for food and tea houses?
3. Transport from KTM to Pokara how can i get there, i seen buses which are $50 per person return is this reasonable? Will i need transport form Pokara to the starting point of the trek?

Thank You All in advance.

1 4000 rps alrogether either in Ktm or in Pokhara
2 Between 2000 and 3000 rps per day
3 Standard tourist busses Ktm Pokhara only cost 600 or 800 rps. There are also ordinary busses to the trailheads 100 to 200 rps.

Yes you need TIMS and ACAP for ABC, $20 for TIMS per person if doing independently and $20 for ACAP.It cost you about $20 -$25 per day per person as mentioned above (drinks and chocolate not included). Yes you need transport from Pokhara to trailhead Nayapul (private jeep upto Tikhedhunga) or Ghandruk/Landruk.
