Anjar to Damascus

Hi,
what are the options to get from Anjar to Damascus? I thought about going from Beirut to Baalbek, stay the night in Zahlé (maybe visit Ksara) and then go via Anjar to Damascus. If impossible, I might backtrack to Beirut and stay the night there instead of Zahle. What do you think?

you can easily get to Zahle from Beirut by microbus terminal and again to Baalbeck also by microbus.
From Baalbeck a microbus is handy to Chuttura unless you take a private taxi to nearest border town Anjar quite possible to find a shared taxi with a vacant seat to Damascus from either of those towns.You dnt need to go back to Zahle
