Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar

Hello! Has anyone traveled by bus to Bahir Dar lately? Is it safe? Are there still protests?

It is safe to travel.

It is alright safe, fuly. Protest has gone away.

We did this three weeks ago and it was fine. You have to be in Meskel Square early as the buses leave at 5:30am. They are supposed to take 9-10 hours, but it took 12, but the journey is quite spectacular, with no sign of anything unusual.

Book in advance !
