Accommodation Queen Elizabeth National Park

does anyone have information about nice budget accommodations close to the QENP?

We would like to do u.a. the the Kazinga Channel boat trip.

Mweya hostels are with in the park. It is the nearest accommodation to the boat cruise along kazinga channel.
I have been there 2 days back and it is really cheap

katonatours, do you know if it's reasonable to just turn up and be able get a place on a cruise, either that day or the next, or does it need to be booked in advance?
I read that the boats only go if there are 10 people - what are the chances of the two of us being able to join with others to make up this number?

The chances are very high.
We booked our launch cruise on the day we did the cruise.

The seven of us booked for the boat at mid day and turned up at 2:30pm

That's good to know, I'm not very good at advance planning!

In case you need confirmation, here it is. If you don't have your own car you'll have to get a cab from the main road (and to drive you around).
