Accommodation in Koh Samui

Hey guys.

I planning on spending a week in Koh Samui before heading over to Koh Phangan for a week. Can anyone recommended any good places to stay in Koh Samui for a 25 year old single traveler. Would like something around 600-1200 bht.. I was wondering for any backpackers out there if they have stayed at I-bed which is located in Lamai. My other option is Ark Bar hotel but it is a bit more in price and is located in chewang. I am basically just looking for a nice beach and a good night life.

Both Lamai and Chaweng have good and cheap hotel options and both offer nightlife.
In Lamia I would recommend Lamai Inn 99, centrally located on the beach and near all nightlife and whatever else you might need.

Try Home Bay Resort,room ranging 300 to 1300B.

I can tell you where not to stay mate- "Best Beach Bungalows" on Chaweng. Unless you are especially fond of flying cockroaches lol :)
