A romantic place to stay in the countryside

It is my boyfriend's birthday soon and I want to take him away for the weekend. We live in Incheon so no more than 2 hours from Seoul would be good and I know he would like to be in the mountains. Really I think he would like to be away from people somewhere pretty.

Any suggestions?

I lived in Incheon for six months. I think that a great place to go to would be near Jiri-san in Jeonju or so, even though it's a few hours away. I also hear that Seorak is great. Why not go to one of those places, get a room for a few day. I LOVED the area near Jiri-san.

I went back to Cheongshim Hospital in the hills just past Seorak two weeks ago. I had forgotten how beautiful the countryside is around that region. Anywhere that side of Geonggi do is pretty right up to Chuncheon (Gangwha do). Not too long to travel if you take the Incheon/Chunceon Airport limosene. To get to Seorak, get off at Cheongpyeong bus terminal and transfer to the approx. hourly 1330-5 bus which runs from Seoul station bus terminal to Seorak. Alternately get on this bus at Seoul Stn.
