- i was heading for a campsite in Ardèche, but the more i think about it, the more tricky it might be - it seems like a fairly remote place, set in a few acres of farmland (camping "les Marroniers" - anyone know it)?? I am only on foot, carrying not much equipment apart from tent, sleeping bag and a few clothes - no stove or anything... i think i'd prefer somwhere a bit nearer to civilisation - secluded but at least walking distance from a village with shops etc... still somewhere in the ardèche area and somewhere for less than ten euros a night for a pitch... any ideas welcome!!
