a general cost of a taxi from airport to central Amman

I have been quoted 50 dinars for a taxi from the airport to downtown Amman early morning, is this to going rate or am I being ill advised please? I know that prices have gone up in recent times but I just want to check, thanks

Hi airport taxi price is fixed .You purchase a ticket at airport cost 20 Jd to down town Amman.Your hotel can also arrange transfer for same cost.
