4 days in Sri Lanka

Hi all,

I am planning a trip to Sri Lanka for 4 days for my friends 30th birthday. What would you recommend? And where are the best places to visit given we only have 4 days?

Planning this on a budget if possible.

Given the paucity of time, I would recommend you stick to one place or an area. Below are my two recommendations:
1. Take a train to Nuwara Eliya the day you reach, spend a day or two there then move to Ella.
2. Beach hopping - Mirissa, Unawatuna

As far as concerne Budget,
1. Airport - Kandy
2. Kandy - Nuwara Eliya By train ( Nanu Oya)
3. Nuwara Eliya to Bentota
4. Bentota to Airport
