2 weeks in Israel and Jordan

Country forums / Middle East / Israel

Hello everyone,
I´m planning 2 weeks at the end of august beginning of september in Israel + Jordan.
We´d like to see Jerusalem, Nazareth,Bethlem, Masada, Akko the Dead see, Petra, Wadi Rum, Amman and Jerash.

Is it easy to visit all of this places in 2 weeks time

We´d prefere not to change accomodation an a daily basis, in Israel I think we could see most of the places as one day trip from Jerusalem

We´d like to fly in and back from Tel Aviv, because is somewhat cheaper, but we could eventually fly to Tel Aviv and fly back from Amman or vice versa if it´s worth it.

We´d rather use public trasnportation then renting a car

Any help will be appreciated

Yes very easy to do both in 2 weeks - you cross over by land through either of the 3 border controls : North - middle - South.

You can certainly do Masada and the Dead Sea in a day trip from Jerusalem, and you can do Bethlehem in another day trip from Jerusalem.

Nazareth and Akko are too far from Jerusalem for a day trip. They are fairly close to each other. Consider staying in either Nazareth or Akko, or possibly Haifa, which is a much larger city with more accommodation options, and is very easy to get to by public transport.
