Hi, I'm going to Paris for a few days in the first week of June.
I've been there many years ago and I guess it changed a lot, like all big cities.
Are there any new areas to explore?
I like indipendent shops and foodie so if you know some cool places not to be missed (districts, markets or whatever) please do tell me :-)
Hi, in one month I will be in Paris for a few days.
I've been there twice (many years ago) and visited all "classic" tourist attractions.
This time I'd like to visit Canal St Martin area, can someone tell me the names of the streets not to be missed?
I'm looking for nice sights (wich is the best "bridge" for pics?) and indipendent shops / concept stores, good food etc.
So any good hints for that area would be much appreciated! Thanks :-)
I am planning to walk between Riquewihr and Ribeauville, so I need to find out easiest and cheapest way to reach Riquewihr without car renting.
and from Ribeauville, I also need to take same way like heading to Riquewihr.

I will be in Paris May 29 and will leave on June 3. I'm traveling with two other friends. I know it's a short time, so I was wondering if anyone has any recommendation as far as some great things to check out. Maybe some cool restaurants, things to eat, drink, nightlife, and any other recommendation in general. Of course we already have some things in mind, such as Musee de Louvre, Eifel tower, etc. Our days are set, but we didn't really plan details of our stay there. So it would be…
My husband and I are going to spend 5 days along the French Riviera in June. I'm meeting him in Cannes and we'll go from there. We decided we want to stay in Antibes and Villefranche-sur-mer before departing from Nice.
We're planning on renting a car, but I've read that public transportation is good too. My question is whether we should pick a spot as a home base and make day trips or if we should stay in a couple different towns (2 max). We don't love moving around constantly but we do want…
We were very excited when Paris announced kids' bike would be available. I'm a little confused about how it actually works. On the Velib website, it says that there are specific sites for kids' bike that seem to be administered by various organizations. Can bikes be returned to other locations if they rentals are administered by different groups? It seems like the pricing is different from location to location. Any insight would be most appreciated!
Also, there's a location at "Paris Plages du…
My fiancé and I will be in Provence for 6 days in mid-October on our honeymoon. We plan on spending most of our time in the interior using Gordes and St. Remy as a home base. However we wanted to spend at least one night on the coast before flying out of Marseille. We are planning on visiting Cassis but we will be there on a Friday/Saturday and I understand that it can get very crowded on the weekends. At this time of year will the weekend crowds be overwhelming? Is there…
