I am planning to take 3 weeks (ish) to trek in Nepal late in May early June. Does anyone have a recommendation as to a route I should take at that time of year? As a single female travelling alone should I book on an organized trip or is it relatively easy to get on alone. (I have travelled quite a bit on my own - in developed counties) Has anyone done an organized trek that they would recommend? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!!

Hello insiders,
we are four or five adults and would like to hike on Crete the last week of April or the first week of May. We'd like to live in a economic pension (two bedrooms, shower is a must) and would like to do day trips (3 to 6 hrs hikes) from there. We want to move with public transport. Maybe you can help where to get more info? Do you know how to get there? We are flying from Germany, so I suppose we have to take a ferry from Thessaloniki. How long does that take?
Thanks a lot, Crousti

Hello everyone! My girlfriend and I will be going to Scotland (hopefully Edinburgh) this summer for a working holiday through BUNAC. After three months, we're going to spend a couple weeks travelling through the UK, Ireland, and possibly Spain or France. Does anyone know of some really good, cheap hiking/walking trails to do in any of those places that are easy to get to, since we won't have a car? I'd like to have some idea of where to go before we leave.

Thank you so much!

-AJ

Hi,

We are going to Nepal in March and are undecided about which trek to choose. I have done the Annapurna Circuit and thought it was awesome, but my wife has not done it. We won't do the whole circuit, but go to Manang and then back down the same way, for time reasons and the fact that the Jomson part is crowded and over commercialised.

The other option is the Langtang trek, which is short, but would allow us a rest day or two to do day walks etc. I don't know if Langtang compares to Annapurna…

I'm thinking of going to Spain in the summer for a holiday.
However, I don't want your usual beach holiday.

I fancy the idea of visiting the Grenada area, and spending some time walking/hiking in the Sierra Nevada.

Does anyone have any ideas/tips/advice on this plan?
Do you recommend it?

Is there anywhere else in Spain you would recommend instead?

Thanks.

I am planning to take part in an organised trek with Adventure Travel to the base camp of K2 (return route via Gondogoro La), probably starting the beginning of July. The trek lasts roughly 3 weeks (Islamabad-Islamabad) and costs around 869 euros. Is anyone interested in joining me/starting up a group? I’d also love to spend some time travelling in Pakistan after the trek, but as a female would rather not do this alone. I was wondering if anyone else was interested in doing this as well, or does…

Need to store my touring bike for a week or son in Chamonix this coming summer.

Anyone know if there are any places that offer storage??

Want to hike around Mt. Blanc while I'm there.
