Hi,
Am currently in Mendoza, organising things to climb Aconcagua. I can arrange a cheap guided tour to the summit which will cost less than USD1000, and includes:
- Excellent guide for up to 20 days
- Mules to Plaza de Mulas and return
We need to take our own food, tents, personal equipment and pay the park entry fee. We would basically save $500 by organising the food etc ourselves, but still get the benefit of a very experienced guide.
I am going to do this, but need 1-2 more people to make it work. Looking to enter the park on the 13th or 14th (before the permit prices rise)

I hope you have managed to find a companion by now. If not - this will "push" your ad... ;-)
BTW, what about a trip report when you are back? It's always nice to know if one would get value for money when you hire a guide for Aconcagua (that mountain has caught my attention).

I have had to delay this trip for a few days as my partner has fallen ill - if you may be interested pm me, as my cellphone has mysteriously disappeared from my hostel.
