Hi,
We are looking for company for Choquequirao trek (or Choquequirao to Macchu) in October (around 11th of October is the earliest). We want to do the trek by ourselves, but we think it could be fun to have a company. Anyone wants to join?

It sounds like you're going to have a very cool trip coming up! My husband and I hiked the Salkantay Pass trek to Machu Picchu - incredible! As over-60's, we were the elders! Hard, but worth every drop of sweat.
My understanding is that you can not hike/trek into the Machu Picchu district unless you are with an accredited guide/company. They really are monitoring the trails, working to allow access while preserving them, and I fully appreciate that. There is a limit to the # of people allowed to enter the trail on any given day. You have to check in with your passport to enter the district.
If you are interested in a most impressive trek company, I can only sing the highest praises for OneSeed Expeditions. They cut the group size off at ten, and our group was just 7. They will also arrange private or semi-private treks for you, if that is your preference. As a first timer to the Andes, I was happy to know that OneSeed had my back!
