My wife and I will be in Tibet this summer. Can anyone recommend a trekking agency, preferably in Lhasa or Kathmandu, that organizes either fixed departure or private treks. We are interested in doing Rongphu to Advanced Base Camp and either Tsurphu to Yangpachen or Ganden to Samye.
Any information would be much appreciated.

I did the everest base camp trek last year (or let's say I tried it) with my wife. unfortunately I got sick on the trek (bronchitis) and I even needed a rescue flight. Not only the organisation of the tour but also the emergency support from the porterguide was perfect.
Therefore I can definately recommand the trekkingteam in kathmandu.

p.s.: make sure it is save to travel now - we had problems with strikes which caused a lot of troubles and chaos as well as shooting at Lukla!
