Hello - Anyone out there recently walked the Lycian Way in TUrkey?????

I am heading to Istanbul, Turkey tomorrow and would like to trek for 2 weeks on the Lycian Way.
Any info at all would be helpful - gear to bring, hostel/pension, weather, terrain, other tips - all appreciated.

Thank you,
Feleisha

I'm interested in this trek and would really appreciate a basic trip report if you could post on TT after your return. Hope you have a great time.

I'm not positive it was the Lycian way, but I'm pretty sure it was....

There is a backpacker hangout at Olympos where people stay in "treehouses." There is a short path from the "treehouses" to the beach, and this path crosses the Lycian way. One day I hiked along a short stretch of the Lycian way. In several hours of hiking I probably traveled less than one mile. I had to do a lot of scrambling over rocks, and if I had a full pack it would have been extremely difficult. I'm sure most of the trail is resonable, but this short stretch was almost impossible (but extremely beautiful, the rock I was scrambling over was eroded in very interesting ways).

I'm not 100% positive the trail I was on was the Lycian way, but I'm pretty sure it was. And like I said, I saw less than 1 mile of it, so I'm far from being an expert.
