Pyrenees in October

I have been three of four times late October / early November. Always fared well for weather. Had the occasional snow fall overnight but never much - 5cm or so. Mainly quite sunny. Can't really help with trek suggestions as not sure what you want - summits, multi-day trips. At this time of year weather on Spanish side is more reliable and we have always opted for this. Our one venture back to French side was our two days of worst weather. As we crossed the watershed we walked from shorts and shirt sleeves weather to mid winter in literally 10 metres. Did though have the compensations of seeing a Brockenspectre as we crossed (If you don't know what this is you will have to look it up as I will not be back on this site for some time now as we set off for India tomorrow)
