Planning Mera Peak trek in Nepal in September

I'm Apoorv from Bengaluru, India. I'm planning the Mera Peak trek in Nepal from mid to end September this year. I'm in talks with guides and Sherpas and have a good idea of the planning bit as my friends did it this year in May. I am looking out for co-travellers for the trek so thought I'll just post here. If you have the time, trek to EBC before going to Mera. Acclimatization it gives will make the climb both faster and safer and you are more likely to summit. Actually the EBC trek will add only a few days to the total, as you can head straight to Mera BC without acclimatization slowdown. When I climbed Mera I had spent some time in and near EBC, and I was able to climb Mera from Mera La to summit and down to Thaknak in 8 hours, something standard groups need 2-3 days for.
