I am really interested in climbing/trekking the Kilimanjaro in Feb 2012. Not sure how early I need to start looking at bookings? Is there anyone out there who is also seriously considering doing this trip around Feb 2012? If so, I would like to hear from you. I am looking for companions for this trip or joining small groups with a view to cost sharing/reduction. I am open to any of the routes with atleast 6 day expedition. - Thanks Pradeep

Hi Pradeep, let me know if you find sth out, we're looking for the same things :). We're thinking about the Rongai or Lemosho Route, hopefully paying something between 1200 and 1500 USD. But it's very hard to find good tour operators. So much scam on the web.

A friend recommended: www.worldairsafaris.net, but I can't comment on their pricing yet.

I am also looking for a trip to Kili in Feb 2012. Thinking about the 6 day Machame route. Have found prices from 1350 to 2000 USD$. Would like to join up with a group.
