Just head 4 Thamel, we did in october and had a look round and found nice rooms for 5 to 8 us per night, Ktm is dead easy i wouldnt bother booking as trade is slow and there are lots of rooms, haggle!!!!!!!!!!

Go to Thamel. Hotels on every corner. If you fly in you'll be ambushed by about 5000 touts trying to get you to choose their
hotel.

Had a nice time on two occasions staying at the (Purple) ----- PRINCE Hotel------------ in Thamel.

And no I did not ask ..... playing bhuddhist OM ing chillout music behind the building ---- or red hot chili peppers and coldplay (yeah I know!) from the music shop across the street never Purple Rain.

Its right by the Rum doodle bar

I really like Hotel the Earth, good people and rates, no worries and not near a lot of noise.....
