Hello!
I will be flying to Kathmandu in a few days time and am so excited!!!
I thought I would repost my advert looking for trekking partners! I also have a few questions about itineraries, especially about visiting Tibet.
I am arriving in Kathmandu on 6th October and am looking to find a trekking companion for the Everest Region, departing between roughly 7th-12th October!
I plan to trek Jiri - Namche Bazaar - Three Passes (East to West) - Lukla and then fly back to Kathmandu. I expect the trek to be about 26 days. If you are interested in trekking all or part of this trek with me then please get in touch and perhaps we can arrange meeting up for a drink in Kathmandu to discuss it!
I will be hiring a guide to help things to run smoothly (especially going over the three high passes) and for their cultural/historical/geographical knowledge.
I am 21, relatively fit, easy to get along with and have a laugh!
After this trek, I will be in Nepal for a further 2 months to explore. Some of the things I would like to do include Pokhara (World Peace Pagoda, Paragliding Sarangkot), trekking in Annapurna region (possibly ABC), Chitwan NP, Bungee Jump. My plans are fluid and if anyone would be interested in meeting up then let me know! I am also considering visiting Tibet, however having read a lot around this subject it appears that it is relatively difficult and expensive to do this from Kathmandu...if anyone has experience of doing this I would love to hear how you got on.
Thanks - happy travels :)
James
