Anyone summited both and can compare the effort required and technical difficulty on summit day of Aconcagua Normal route to Huayna Potosi?

Just did Huayna Potosi today as part of a plan for acclimatisation for Aconcagua.
Found it more difficult than everything I'd read - 'technically easy', 'the easiest 6000m peak' - other big peaks I've done in S.A. like Cotopaxi and Chachani have been easier and less technical.

Ok, now I know.

Acclimatised well on both, I'd go with Huayna Potosi as more arduous and technical than summit day on normal route of Aconcagua.

Climbed Aconcagua a few years ago, definitely wasn't technical unless you consider putting one foot in front of the other difficult!!!!

It always depends on the conditions but when I was there I think I crossed about twenty metres of ice/snow, which was flat, and that was it..... of course don't underestimate the altitude!! you're probably well acclimatised but still, at nearly 7,000metres slogging through deep scree is more painful than nearly anything I'd possibly imagined....

Buena suerte... would love to hear how you go,
Tye
