Hiking in Sinai

We're hoping to do a day-hike, or possibly an over-night on an upcoming trip to Sinai in a few weeks. We think it might be a bit cold to do the hike in the Santa Katarina mountains at this time of year, and was wondering if there are good areas for hiking closer to the Israeli border? Does anyone have any hikes they would recommend near Ras Shaitan or Bir Sweir?

Just go to any of the hotels or camps along the coast and tell them what kind of trip you're looking for. They will arrange everything for you including a guide, food, and whatever else. Dress warmly at night.
