Me and a friend are planning a hike in Jordan (Petra to Humeima, which is south of Petra) for the 2nd week of March. The route includes wadis and I'm slightly worried about the possibility of flash floods. From what I've heard there's still the possibility of rains at this time and the 'wadi hiking season' is usually from April onwards. Has anyone any experience hiking in wadis in Jordan at this time of year? I'll be happy for any advice, thanks!
