My friend wants to go somewhere warm where we can camp. I figure it would be great to do a 4-7 day hiking trip maybe somewhere in the Caribbean (I think that meets the warm requirement). Does anyone have any suggestions of hikes/locations that will fit the bill??
Thanks!!

I think it's rare to find a place in Carribean to Camp and Hike. There is El Yunque NP in Puerto Rico. I haven't been there, so that's all I can say. You could also consider Big Bend NP.
Might want to try the Pico Duarte area of Domincan Republic, but it can be cool in the higher elevations. I'm headed there December.
Rough Guides and Lonely Planet list the following routes/trail distances to Duarte:
La Ciegna Trail: 46 kms (29 miles)
Mata Grande Trail: 90 kms (56 miles)
Sabeneta Trail: 96 kms (60 miles)
Las Lagunas Trail: 108 kms (67 miles)
Los Corralitos Trail: 86 kms (54 miles)
Of course, with the distances, those are all multi-day hikes where you must camp. You are also supposed to have a guide, and you can hire mules for gear, all of which is realitively inexpensive. If you're going after December, I'll be happy to give you a trip report of how things went on our hike.
As stated though, it can be cold at high altitudes, but warm down low.
A freind I have also suggest the three day hike across St Vincent and over the top of Soufriere, but I haven't been there yet.
