Does anyone on this branch know of tour companies that incorporate the 2-day Inca Trail trek within their tours versus the full 3-4 day version? I'm looking at GAP Adventure Tours because I know their tours to Peru are good, but their tours all do the full version. (I want to see Peru with a group tour and not by myself independently.)
Thanks

There,s lots of treking companies in cusco that will do the 2 day trek and its very doubtful that you would ever be alone, there,s so many people doing it.

A lot of the group companies would be willing to let you stay in Cusco for the extra night and then go for the two day trek. Just let them know beforehand so they can organise something. It might cost a little extra.
Eg GAP used SAS (2001 might still do) to do their treks. SAS does both treks each day, so they would be able to organise for you to do the 2 day trek. Contact them and check it out. Probably the same with most other companies.

Generally we have found when comparing prices that companies such as GAP are a lot more expensive than excellent local companies. I'd recommend checking out the local Peruvian companies and then selecting one that best suits your needs and price. We found that with the 4 day trek we were able to negotiate the price after comparing the offerings of a number of Cusco based agencies.
