I couldn't afford a foreign trip this "summer" (if that's what you'd call it!). I did a coast to coast (west to east) backpacking / packrafting trip, instead. I was good fun! The rapids on the River Spey were cool. And despite the crappy weather the scenery was good. I put pictures on my blog:
