I have long narrow flat feet and can't decide which backpacing boot brand to get. Just bought a pair of Vasque Zephyrs. They feel pretty good right out of the box> Are there any better brands for narrow feet?
Thanks

I think either lowe or scarpa makes narrow boots, but they aren't narrow in the right places for me. I have a difficult time with my narrow feet. I typically end up putting a thin layer called "five iron" under my inserts. I buy better inserts than what comes with the boots. I currently hike in Salomons, but feet are all so different that they might not work for you. Good luck and keep your feet comfy!

I have very narrow feet and have hiked with Scarpas all over the world. I think they might last forever. The more you wear them the more comfortable they get. I have put in extra inserts just for cushioning on the hard packed trails. A thin sock liner would help with the "break in" period, though I don't remember getting any blisters.
Good Luck
