Hi
I am planning a 6 week visit to India at the start of November and I wanted to do some trekking in the Himalayas in the first week.
HAS ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS FOR AN INEXPERIENCED TREKKER?!?!?
I would be looking for a 2-5 day trek as high as possible (to get some good pics) and if there are any temples on route even better.
I have read my lonely planet guide book a there seems to be so many places to go, im over whelmed by the options!
So, I was think either
1) Himachal Pradesh, probably Manali (as it looks well set up for backpackers and the weather shouldnt be crazy cold start of nov)
2) Or somewhere in Uttarakhand, (again there seems to be loads of places to go!)
Also, I have noticed it starts to get cold in November, so Im guessing I will need my ski jacket and gloves.
