First week of June is still best time in Trekking ABC. starting of rainy season but not like July. Whole year of the time peoples trek ABC. lower part of the route can be affected and can be litle hard with rain but upper part with good weather at morning time. No proble to trek around

Thanks

Hi MM

The first two weeks of June could still be a good time to trek ABC if the monsoon is not in full swing but then again if it is...

See this average rainfall table for Pokhara; here which shows June as the 4th wettest month, margianlly behind september. It does not show how the rainfall is distributed over the month and I would expect the last two weeks to get more rain. Also, the majority of the route is on the south facing slopes and does not benefit from the rain shadow effect (unlike most of the AC).

I'm not saying do not trek the route, just be aware of it could be rain a lot then and the typical pattern is c;lear-ish mornings with cloud building up around noon and rain spells in the afternoon. If it does pan out like this then trekking early will mean you will avoid the worst of it. If you are expecting rain and have the right gear it can still be enjoyable - I trekked langtang/Gosainkund/Helambu in a heavy monsoon and still enjoyed it.

Having said that, if you want to avoid the worst of the rain the AC is an alternative (shortened by flying out of Jomsom or Upper Mustang which is completely in the rains shadow - but the permits are expensive.

I think the 1st two weeks of June is questionable weather for ABC. If you can start a couple weeks earlier, you are likely to have better weather. scoodly gives some good alternatives.
