Looking for a good mobile search tool, something that can basically give me the same information you'd get from 411. Of course, it has to be free, or else what's the point of not using 411? I don't mind if it's ad-supported. Something that's also fast and reliable -- or am I asking for too much?

Hi - anyone know how i change my settings on visat so when i open a new windown when surfing it doesnt open half the size of the screen? In XP if you enlarged it and then did 'file-close' that always made sure it was the default setting when opening a new window. Not in (shitty!) vista.

I am about to order a DVD but it is in HD format. What happens when I play that DVD on a regular TV? Basically just regular quality with no improvement or will the picture just be black or something like that (basically HD DVD not working on a regular TV)?

I intended to make a personal backup copy of a favourite DVD of mine but my PowerProducer DVD copy program advised that it was CSS protected. On the internet their appears to be programs that can overcome this protection. Any recommendations on which one to use.

So this is probably a dumb question, but here it is.
I'm from the USA, and I don't know how I should write my phone number when its needed overseas (for reservations and such). I almost exclusively use email for contact when I travel, and I tend to have issues simply dialing home (sad, I know!). I know it should be something like 1-(123)-456-7890 or 10-(123)-456-7890 or 01-(123) etc - I just don't know!

im doing a presentation and want to put all the countries ive visited on a map where the countries ive been to are shaded.

i want to be able to save this online and transfer it to my flash disc.

I have a Panasonic digital camera model number DMC-FZ7 that came with an operating manual in english and french. Any idea where I can download a copy of the instructions in Spanish. I followed their customer support dept advise to log into www.pasc.panasonic.com for a copy and could only find the english version and since I reside in Canada I can't use the toll free number to call them or send them an email which I tired to do. Someone tried to scan my computer. This happens every now & then but this time when I looked at the log - it said "application hijacking" & that is not what it normally says...

As always when I backtrace it goes to RIPE whatever that is...

Is this related to the webpage I was on or is it just random? It was an (apparently) reliable computer website (dabs.com)...
