I've recently installed one of these on my site and so far nothing but spam, particularly graphic porn and links to viagra pushers. I'm running an old version basically because the upgrade wouldn't take. Sometimes following instructions isn't enough.
In the admin panel I've set it up now so they must wait for email confirmation before they can be registered but somehow people are still signing in as guests and posting objectionable material. How can they do that and how can I stop them. It's…
I bought a new laptop when I was in Canada its a pavillion dv 6000. I theoretically got everything all set up however that was a lie and i have had nothing but problems since I got back - obviously can't take it back...I am in hungary...

So the question is having had everything…
My PC has developed a problem on the hard drive. It's on Fat32. Last time it happened it was due to a virus but I've had the free version of AVG on it which has found and got rid of anyhting that ahs got in. The problem I now have is my emails which i do through Outlook Express. I know that it's possible to put the PC in safe mode but don't know how to do this, I know I have to press F2 before XP starts to boot up, on my PC it's press F2 as soon as the manufacturer logo appears. I don't…
I had this idea the other day. When you get a spam e mail, either a nigerian scam or those ones selling viagra or credit cards what is to stop me replying with ten thousand or more replys? asking for more info Surely this would block their inbox. this is such a simple solution that i wait with baited breath to know why this can,t be done.
Hi,
I'm taking my UK mobile to Eastern Europe this weekend, and want to call people who live there. I have their numbers which are like 07966111111 for example. How do i text/call these numbers? Do i have to put 00 country code etc?
I've never done this before, and i've googled a fair bit, but no joy.
Any help much appreciated

For a project I'm working on, I need to get some street-sounds while walking through the town. I've never done anything like this - not even used a video camera in the last 10 years. What do you guys reckon is the best way of doing this - I mean what sort of equipment? Has to be cheap (£100 max), discreet (I don't want pick up people's reactions), and reasonable quality.
In case you're wondering, this will be used for background noise for a slide show on art businesses and projects in the town.

A question for all you gadget-freaks ;-)
Those of you who bring along MP3-players, shavers, cell-phones, travelspeakers, digicam's & all their respective chargers & batteries and international socket-changers: where do you put in to put in your backpack?
Since I don't have separate casings for most of them, I was wondering if maybe i should get like a sturdy box (something like Tupperware maybe?)
So I can keep most small items together & they's kind of protected during travelling?
Or do you have…
I've seen emails (sent by a traveller) about where he was, what he was doing, and within the text -not as attachments - were photos.
I'd really like to be able to do this, to add photos to my text, and make a kind of travel letter, but have no idea how to do it. I guess I'd need to resize the photo, for one thing, and would also like to be able to write in the space to the left or right of a photo.
Can anyone help, please?
