I used UTorrent to download a movie (avi) with Hungarian subtitles (sub. file, same title as movie). Then I used NERO 7 Ultra Edition - Nero Vision - to burn it. The movie came out fine, without the subtitles. How can I burn it again with the subtitles?

I'm looking to replace my Olympus digicam with either another Olympus, or a Fuji (yes, I still want to stick with my XD memory cards), and it seems for the price I'm willing to spend ($400-500) my best choices are the Fuji Finepix S9600 versus the SP-550 by Olympus.

In the past all my digicams have been somewhat lacking in clear night photography, stable sports pictures (i.e. people in motion) and HQ video clips (due to the low resolution).

I am going to have to buy a laptop for personal use in the next month or two. Up until now I had an expert who did all this (and supplied all equipment as well) but I will have to learn for myself now. I think I want a MacBook. It will just be used for managing my personal life (no business stuff at all) so photos, tunes, taxes, email, surfing, budgets and I would like to watch occassional DVS's on it as I don't want a TV. I use a program called Instant Lock (V 2.0) to lock a folder on my computer, been using it for a few years without any problems. But today after opening the folder I tried to lock it again and failed because windows said it was in use or something, so I closed the program and rebooted windows. I then ran instant lock and again and went to add the folder to lock it only to discover its not there, have rebooted several times to see if that helps and done a search for it but it doesn't appear to be…

can anyone suggest a good webcam? not too expensive.. say $50 range?

i plan to connect it to a remote PC. will install the video server software on it. will not use it through messenger.
but will log on to a machine on that internal network via rdesktop and invoke this camera via the standard 192.168.1.xx:port.

What I would like to have is reasonable resolution without exponential increase in costs.
Also would it be possible for swivel etc control from the "other" pc?

Just had a slightly worrying glich, started up my laptop and could not get any access to the internet, so i deleted firefox as my browser, did a system restore and then opened up explorer and reloaded firefox, has anyone experienced anything similar with firefox......And if so is there anyway of stopping it from happening again in the future..

I just bought a camcorder (Sony sr290). next week i'm going to India for a month and that's where i want to use my camcorder. I will also go high up in the mountains (up to 6000 meters.)
I read that you shouldn't use a harddisk camcorder over 3000metres because it would harm your harddisk. Does anybody know what's true about this?

Have done a search but couldn't find the answer. I know how to resize my pics in photoshop 7 but I need to resize some of them to 1.5MB Jpegs. So far all I'm managing to do is resize them then look at the saved file. Too small, try again. Too big. Is there an easier way, or a way to calculate the file size before resizing it?
