I am traveling to Uganda in August and need to take a "world phone". I have seen a couple of plans I like one through Mobal and one through Roam4Less. Mobal doesn't have current good reviews. Has anyone used either of these companies, and what is your expoerience, suggestions?

I have been trying to use Windows Live Movie Maker to edit some videos and while it's easy to understand, but it's been full of gremlins and keeps refusing to save. I have done some extensive research but I still can't make up my mind whether to buy a DSLR camera or a MILC (Mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera). I am by no means a professional photographer, however, I like taking high quality pictures, and when I take a photo of something, it has to look the way I want it to.
