Last night, I tried removing MS Office 2007 beta from my machine but it was taking a while and the time was late so attempted to end the uninstall and shut down for the night. However, the add/remove program box would not go away after cancelling the uninstall so I just shut down anyway.
This morning, I booted back up and tried to uninstall MS Office 2007 Beta again but I get an error message "setup could not find any available products to install. Please contact your system administrator." After which, I simply tried removing the Microsoft Office folder from the Program Files directory to the recycle bin. Not only did this not help but the size of the whole program oddly tripled in size, according to the ADD/REMOVE programs display box. If I try to 'change' the program, I get the message "this product installation has been corrupted...Run setup again..." Also, I uninstalled MS SharePoint Designer, a separate program, first with no problems.
May someone tell me an easy way to get this damned thing off my computer?

hey dude. Yea, I thought of that. Will check to see if beta is still available for download.

Another suggestion, whenever you are about to download any program for installation, save the download to a convenient, maybe purpose - created folder, and install from that. (that doesn't work for all downloads, some use a stub installer, sort of a mini download that phones home to get the installation sent)
That way, if you ever need to reinstall it, it's handy.
Agree with above.
